Understanding What Makes Our Community Great And Where We Need To Improve

A Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis exercise was conducted with focus groups and at a well-attended Public Forum. All of the items on this exercise list were provided by the participants.

 

Following the posting of these priority items, each participant was asked to select the three most important, in their opinion, to be addressed. They could choose one priority item for all of their investment, or they could place their investment on three separate priority items.

 

As you will be able to determine as you review the priority items, those issues that most concern the participants and require focus are as follows in order of importance:

  4. Affordable Housing

  5. Crime/Crime Legislation

  6. Tribal Relations

  7. Manufacturing/Primary Jobs
